Placing pen or pencil to paper has been something I've done nearly my entire life. Eventually my childhood comfort and level of familiarity with traditional illustration informed later works in a professional capacity as well as a personal one.

During both high school and university I was able to apply illustration skills towards poster designs for the various theatre production for which I was involved. In college I did additional posters for friends' productions as well. Eventually I would expand to using a drawing tablet to add digital illustration, using—for the most part—Illustrator.

This is a motion graphic assembly of many of the pieces of artwork I have created. Works included have been created using pen and ink, pencil, and colored pencil. After Effects was of course used to assemble the animation.

At the University of Northern Colorado it was my pleasure to have the only student comic strip in the student paper, the Mirror, for the 1992 & 1993 school year.

From 1983 to 1986 a friend and I made a series of maze books based on games or movies that caught our fancy at the time.

What I admire the most about Dana is his ability to adapt to difficult situations. He was quick to acknowledge differing perspectives and be considerate of at those times when there were conflicts. His tact and calm demeanor was appreciated in situations where the desires of management differ from those of other employees. Taking the time to acknowledge differing perspectives, while keeping the desires of management in place, was greatly appreciated. I would recommend Dana in any situation where a thinking and considerate employee or coworker is needed. I would happily work with, or for, Dana again given the opportunity to do so.
